Privacy

How we handle your data.

Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or using Door in any way, you accept this Privacy Policy in full and consent to the collection, use, transfer, storage, and disclosure of data described here. If you don't agree, please don't use Door.

What we collect

We collect what you give us and what we need to run the service: your phone number, name, date of birth, email, passport and travel-document details, tokenised payment details, device and browser identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and your search and booking history, along with any support messages you send. We may also receive data from our booking and payment partners, identity-verification and fraud-prevention services, analytics providers, and public sources.

How we use it

We use your data to run, secure, personalise, improve, and market Door; to complete your bookings; to meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; to enforce our Terms; to improve the systems behind Door; and for any purpose we disclose when we collect it or that you consent to.

Who we share with

We share data with the airlines and accommodation providers that fulfil your bookings, our IATA-accredited booking provider, our payment processor, our SMS and identity-verification providers, our cloud and analytics vendors, our fraud-prevention services, our professional advisors, and any successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We disclose data where the law, a court, or a regulator requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public. We don't sell your personal information for money.

International transfers

Door operates globally. Your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside your own — including the United States — where data-protection laws may differ from yours. By using Door, you consent to these transfers.

Retention

We keep data for as long as we need it to run the service, meet legal and audit obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — which can be well beyond account closure. We may keep anonymised, aggregated data indefinitely.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure and we can't guarantee it. You use Door at your own risk and accept that transmitting or storing data always carries some risk we can't remove.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data from Settings → Delete account, or by emailing support@door.flights. We honour valid requests to the extent the law requires, and may decline or limit them where an exemption applies, where we can't verify you, or where we must keep data for legal or security reasons. Deletion can take up to ninety days and may not reach backups or anonymised data.

Children

Door isn't intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we'll take appropriate action.

Cookies & tracking

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, security, analytics, and performance. By using Door you consent to these to the extent the law allows; you can manage cookies in your browser settings.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes take effect when posted, and continued use of Door means you accept them. Please check back for the current version.

No warranties

Nothing here creates a contract, warranty, or obligation beyond what the law requires. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Door isn't liable for any loss arising from the collection, use, transfer, or disclosure of data.
